APPLICATION This week, do not just listen to the story—live it out. Write down one area of your life where fear feels bigger than faith. Each day, ask God to help you see Him as greater than that fear. Take one step of courage: pray with someone, share your story, stand up for what is right, or ask for help. Trust that God is with you every step of the way. Leader Note: Remind your group that courage grows in community. Encourage them to check in with one another about their step of faith this week. Celebrate even the smallest acts of obedience and trust. CLOSE / CHALLENGE Joshua and Caleb were ordinary people who chose to see God as bigger than their giants. That is the invitation for every student tonight. God is not asking for perfect faith—He is inviting you to a warm, living trust in Jesus. John Calvin wrote, “Faith is not a distant view but a warm embrace of Christ.” Real faith clings to Christ, not just in church, but in every challenge and fear. Gospel Tie-In: The greatest act of courage in all history was Jesus facing the cross for us. Because He trusted the Father and overcame death, we never face our fears alone. The Spirit of Jesus lives in every believer, giving us a courage that the world cannot understand. No matter what you face, God is with you.
